Step18 Final : journey contest for artstation

Sasha and his father Nicolai are running away from a massive comet blast's aftermath wich destroyed their home. Clouds of ashes started blocking the sunlight and turned the summer climate into a subzero temperature wasteland. Grieving the loss of his mother, they ve been hidding and trekking the white desert of the motherland. After a few days surviving in the cold, eating scraps of food and shelter wherever they can, Nicolai took the opportunity to set up an ambush to a passing car. The driver was a former military turned into a scavenger, luckily unarmed. Now, full with supplies, a new journey begin for Nicolai and Sasha and the first good warm meal in a week.
